Psychological Assessment
We offer a recruitment package which is designed to support you with your recruitment needs from developing an accurate job description through to helping you choose the best applicant for the role with the aide of a range of psychometric tests assessing aptitude, ability and personality according to the role.

Why use Psychometric Testing for the Recruitment of Staff and for improved Performance of Existing Staff?
The objective of using psychometric testing during the recruitment process is to assist in the evaluation process of identifying key skills, knowledge, and behaviours that will lead to successful performance. It can significantly reduce the risk of incorrect recruitment decisions and unwanted costs.

Psychometric testing can also be used to analyse the profile of existing staff enabling the organisation to optimise its resources.

Although a number of candidates may possess the relevant technical skills and experience, each one will vary as to the way they apply those skills in the work-place - i.e. how they will behave. It will be the way that people behave, over and above their technical skills that will make a significant difference to their fit and success in the job. For example:

how they communicate information and influence others (both orally and in writing)
their ability to analyse information and think strategically
whether they prefer to work closely with others or independently
•
whether they prefer to maintain the status quo or try new ways of doing things
how they cope with time pressure as well as their broader personal resilience

Assessment exercises of different kinds can gather evidence relating to the above behaviours, as well as many other behavioural patterns. Combining an interview with appropriate assessment exercises provides far broader and more job-relevant information about the candidates than an interview alone.

The objective of the assignment is to select the most suitable candidate on the basis of merit, judged on objective evidence provided by the assessment process.

The benefits of psychometric assessment for your business
The cost of recruiting and then losing staff is considerable and often unknown to the business. Utilising psychometric assessment as part of the recruitment process and as part of your staff development plan can significantly reduce the costs incurred in this process and ensure that you continue to benefit from each staff members potential whilst they are in your employment.
